Dona Valy is a PhD candidate at Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium and also a researcher at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), Cambodia. He received his engineering degree in computer science and communication from ITC in 2010 and his MSc in Image Synthesis and Graphics at the University of Limoges,France in 2011. His current PhD research work focuses on ancient palm leaf manuscript analysis and Khmer handwritten text recognition.
